A maximum of $3,250 to support the costs of a visiting lecturer to the Dalhousie Faculty of Medicine.

DMRF Gillian's Hope Visiting Scholar in MS Research

A maximum of $3,250 to support the costs of a visiting lecturer to the Dalhousie Faculty of Medicine (in the area of MS Researh)

DMRF Conference Grants

A maximum of two $5,000 grants or one $10,000 grant to support a conference taking place in the next fiscal year - for the current competition, the conference must be taking place at Dalhousie University sometime between April 1, 2018 and March 31, 2019.  

DMRF Kathryn A. Weldon Travel Awards

Six awards of $2,000 for conference travel to make a presentation are available for graduate students in the Dalhousie Faculty of Medicine.

DMRF Dr. J. Donald Hatcher Research Prize

Due Date ~ Monday, March 18, 2019 (4:00pm)
For fourth-year medical students, this $2,000 prize recognizes medical research excellence in work undertaken during undergraduate medical training.

DMRF Karen Mann Lectureship in Medical Education

Due Date ~ Thursday, March 28, 2019 (4:00pm)
Named in memory of Dr. Karen Mann, the purpose of the lectureship is to bring internationally respected experts in medicl education to Dalhousie University to engage with students, faculty, staff, donors, volunteers and/or members of the general public.  Up to $4,500 is available to support each visit.

Dalhousie Medical Research Foundation / Faculty of Medicine RIM Studentships

DMRF supports RIM by providing $5,000 stipends for medical students to carry out a research project in the summer after their Med 1 or Med 2 year.
