Prostate cancer is the most common cancer among Canadian men (excluding non-melanoma skin cancers). With a diagnosis rate of 1 in 9 Canadian men, efforts to establish preventative measures, speedier diagnosis, better treatments and, post-treatment care are imperative. Ultimately, researchers are driven to find a cure for this challenging form of cancer. We are therefore proud to present:
The DMRF Frank and Debbi Sobey Lectureship, featuring world-renowned Professor in the Department of Urology at Norway's Akershus University Hospital in Oslo, Dr. Karol Axrona. Dr. Axcrona will speak on the internationally diverse and cutting-edge approaches to research ideas concerning prostate cancer survivorship and new ways to look at current prostate cancer assessment, treatment and survivorship challenges.
